BEIJING: China has expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s efforts in promoting peace between the United States and Iran. According to Radio Pakistan, a spokesperson for China’s Foreign Ministry acknowledged Pakistan’s initiative in facilitating peace and ending hostilities, highlighting its significant mediation role in the ongoing US-Iran negotiations.

The spokesperson remarked that China remains committed to supporting President Xi Jinping’s four-point proposal, which focuses on safeguarding and advancing peace and stability in the Middle East. Furthermore, China reiterated its dedication to advancing the China-Pakistan five-point initiative, which aims to restore peace and stability in the Gulf region and the broader Middle East.
