Islamabad: A delegation of civil judges from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, participating in an in-service pre-promotion training at the Federal Judicial Academy, visited the Chief Justice of Pakistan at the Supreme Court as part of their study tour.
According to Press Information Department, the session included various judicial and legal officials, such as the Director General of Federal Judicial Academy and the Director General of Reforms at the Supreme Court of Pakistan. During the meeting, the Chief Justice underscored the shifting nature of judicial duties and the necessity for ongoing professional growth. He remarked that training programs at judicial academies are crucial for enhancing judicial capacity and maintaining consistency in judicial decisions.
The Chief Justice stressed the importance of integrity, impartiality, and judicial temperament in administering justice and reminded the judicial officers of their constitutional duties to deliver justice fairly and swiftly. Furthermore, he urged the participants to adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct, emphasizing their role in upholding the justice system’s credibility and effectiveness.
The visit ended with a question-and-answer session and the exchange of souvenirs as a symbol of institutional goodwill.
