Chairman Senate Visits Islamabad Orphanage, Commends Educational Efforts


Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani visited the Dar Ali bin Abi Talib Orphanage and School in Islamabad, where he toured various facilities and interacted with students and staff. He expressed appreciation for the quality of education, care, and training provided to orphaned children. Gilani acknowledged the efforts of the management and teaching staff in supporting the development and well-being of these children.



According to Press Information Department, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani highlighted the shared responsibility in ensuring the welfare and education of orphaned and vulnerable children. He stressed the importance of quality education and skills development in helping children reach their potential. During a briefing, Gilani was informed about the institution’s educational and welfare programs and recognized the humanitarian contributions of the Muslim World League in backing such initiatives.



Mr. Saad Alharthi, Regional Director of the International Islamic Relief Organization, was present and expressed gratitude to the Chairman Senate for his visit. Gilani also shared insights on Multan’s history and cultural heritage. Concluding his visit, he reaffirmed support for initiatives that enhance educational and welfare services for children from vulnerable communities.
