PHNOM PENH: Chairman Senate of Pakistan Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani led a delegation of Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC) members to meet with Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Manet at the Peace Palace. This visit underscored the ongoing efforts between Pakistan and Cambodia to enhance parliamentary exchanges and cooperation.
According to Senate of Pakistan, Chairman Gilani expressed gratitude for Cambodia’s hospitality and commended the successful organization of the 2nd ISC by the Cambodian Parliament. This meeting marked Gilani’s second visit to the Peace Palace, recalling his earlier visit when he met with Hun Manet’s father, Samdech Hun Sen.
In a gesture to further bilateral ties, Chairman Gilani invited the Cambodian Prime Minister and Parliament to visit Pakistan. He highlighted the importance of multilateral forums like ISC in promoting peace, dialogue, and international cooperation, reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to working with Cambodia and other ISC members for shared prosperity.
