Chairman Senate of Pakistan Meets Iranian Parliament Speaker to Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Stability


TEHRAN: Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, met with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, in Tehran to discuss bilateral relations and regional stability. The meeting focused on enhancing parliamentary cooperation and addressing challenges facing the Muslim Ummah, with an emphasis on promoting global peace.



According to Senate of Pakistan, the meeting involved an exchange of views on Pakistan-Iran relations and the importance of expanding economic collaboration and trade. Chairman Gilani expressed condolences for the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader and reiterated Pakistan’s solidarity with Iran. He highlighted the historical and cultural ties between the two nations and called for strengthened cooperation.



Dr. Ghalibaf acknowledged Pakistan’s support and emphasized the strong friendship between the two countries. Both leaders agreed on the need for sustained bilateral engagement to promote regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
