Chairman Senate Gilani Emphasizes Strengthening Pakistan-Sweden Relations

Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to bolstering its ties with Sweden, following a meeting with Mr. Umair Bhatti, a member of the Swedish Moderate Party, at the Parliament House. The discussions underscored the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation across several sectors, including trade, investment, and education.

According to Senate of Pakistan, Chairman Gilani highlighted the significance of parliamentary diplomacy as a tool for fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between nations. He expressed optimism that increased interactions between the legislatures of Pakistan and Sweden would lead to expanded bilateral relations and new collaborative opportunities.
