Riyadh: Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has lauded the Saudi Arabia Grand Mufti’s significant contributions to the Muslim world, emphasizing the importance of religious harmony and collaboration. In a meeting with Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, Gilani underscored the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, grounded in shared religious principles and mutual respect.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Gilani expressed Pakistan’s interest in partnering with Saudi Arabia in the educational and religious domains. Highlighting the Grand Mufti’s efforts in promoting tolerance, he called for an increased exchange of religious scholars to enhance mutual understanding. Gilani also proposed advancing religious education initiatives and facilitating expert delegation exchanges between the two nations.
