Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has called for national unity, lasting peace, and inclusive development in Balochistan, emphasizing its critical role in Pakistan’s security and prosperity. Addressing the National Workshop Balochistan, he urged stakeholders to collaborate for a stronger federation and lauded security forces for their dedication.

According to Senate of Pakistan, Chairman Gilani highlighted Balochistan’s strategic importance due to its resources and location. He condemned terrorism aimed at destabilizing the region and stressed the need to empower Balochistan’s youth through education and employment. Gilani reflected on past initiatives like the Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan Package to address provincial concerns and ensure equitable resource distribution.

Chairman Senate reaffirmed the commitment to protect provincial rights and promote national unity, urging workshop participants to advocate for harmony and democracy. He expressed confidence in the youth’s ability to lead a united Pakistan and acknowledged past leaders’ efforts to strengthen the country’s legislative framework.
