Islamabad: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is set to convene in Islamabad on Sunday to observe the sighting of the Shawwal 1446 Hijri Moon. This event marks a significant step in determining the commencement of Eid-ul-Fitr festivities across the country.
Moulana Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad, who serves as the Chairman of the Committee, will lead the meeting. The proceedings will take place with the aim of confirming the moon sighting, a crucial element in marking the end of Ramadan.
Simultaneously, the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will gather at their respective headquarters. These meetings will take place independently to corroborate the sighting of the Eid-ul-Fitr Moon.
This coordinated effort underscores the importance of the moon sighting in determining the Islamic calendar and the onset of Eid, a major religious celebration in the Muslim community.
