Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari met with newly appointed ambassador designates to Morocco, Switzerland, and the Philippines, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties in trade, economics, and diplomacy.
In separate meetings, Syed Adil Gilani, designated as ambassador to Morocco, Dr. Marghoob Saleem Butt, designated to Switzerland, and Dr. Asima Rabbani, designated to the Philippines, were congratulated by President Zardari on their new roles.
President Zardari highlighted Pakistan’s interest in enhancing cooperation with friendly nations, focusing on business and investment sectors. He urged the ambassadors to work towards building robust relationships with their host countries.
The President extended his best wishes to the ambassadors, expressing confidence in their ability to foster bilateral relations effectively.
