Islamabad: The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved fifteen development projects totaling 34.74 billion rupees. The approval came during a meeting chaired by Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal.
According to Radio Pakistan, the projects span sectors such as mineral exploration, healthcare, digital infrastructure, security, energy, robotics, and road connectivity. The minister emphasized the alignment of these projects with the vision of URAAN Pakistan, which prioritizes digital transformation, modern infrastructure, connectivity, and sustainable economic growth.
Ahsan Iqbal stated that the strategic investments in technology and infrastructure are vital for advancing Pakistan’s progression towards a knowledge-based and competitive economy.
