Islamabad, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has expressed confidence that the upcoming general election on February 8 will usher in a new era of political stability in Pakistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in an interview with a private television channel, PM Kakar outlined the caretaker government’s accomplishments, announcing plans to issue a white paper detailing these successes. He emphasized that most of the targets set by the interim administration had been successfully met.
Kakar also highlighted the economic challenges facing the country. He mentioned that the next government would need to collaborate with the International Monetary Fund and implement reforms in the taxation system to advance the economy.
Further, the Prime Minister underscored the achievements in international economic relations, specifically pointing out the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s role in securing Memorandums of Understanding worth 25 billion dollars with the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
This interview reflects the caretaker government’s efforts to lay a stable foundation for the post-election political landscape and its initiatives to bolster the economy.

During his visit, the Consul will meet with local authorities to discuss the incident and emphasize the need for decisive action against the perpetrators.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to addressing the gravity of the situation. She stated that the embassy is taking all necessary steps to expedite the repatriation of the deceased individuals. In her statement, Baloch also conveyed Pakistan’s unwavering resolve in the face of terrorism, asserting that such cowardly attacks will not deter the nation’s determination to combat terrorism.
