British Parliamentary Official Meets Prime Minister in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Lord Wajid Khan, the U.K. Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Faith, Communities and Resettlement, met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House. The meeting focused on strengthening Pakistan-U.K. relations, with discussions highlighting trade, investment, education, and people-to-people exchanges.

Prime Minister Sharif welcomed Lord Khan to Pakistan, expressing gratitude for his participation in the Overseas Pakistanis Convention. The Prime Minister acknowledged the significant role of the British Pakistani diaspora in fostering connections between the two nations.

Further, Prime Minister Sharif extended his best wishes to His Majesty King Charles III and Prime Minister Keir Starmer. He emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral relations across multiple sectors.

Lord Khan shared insights on his recent activities aimed at bolstering ties between Pakistan and the U.K. The Prime Minister praised Lord Khan’s dedication to exploring new avenues for collaboration.
