ISLAMABAD: The British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad to discuss the evolving regional situation. The discussions focused on Pakistan’s role in facilitating engagement and the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving disputes peacefully.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to promote dialogue in the region. The British High Commissioner expressed support for Pakistan’s facilitative role, particularly in bringing the United States and Iran to the negotiating table.
