SIRTE: A vessel carrying foreign nationals has sunk near the Harawa coast in Sirte City, Eastern Libya, resulting in the tragic loss of multiple lives, including Pakistani nationals. The Pakistan embassy in Tripoli reports that 11 bodies have been recovered, with four identified as Pakistanis.

The identified Pakistani nationals were confirmed through their national documents. The individuals have been named as Zahid Mehmood from Gujranwala, and three others, Sameer Ali, Syed Ali Hussain, and Asif Ali, all from Mandi Bahauddin. Two bodies remain unidentified at this time.

Following the incident, a team from the Pakistan embassy visited Sirte City to gather further information. The embassy is working closely with local authorities to assist with the ongoing developments.
