Islamabad: The Islamabad Police announced the arrest of three individuals in connection with the killing of a woman initially reported as an accidental electrocution. This development follows a detailed investigation into the death of Bushra, who died on May 20, 2026. The accused, including the woman’s biological father, former husband, and father-in-law, are alleged to have orchestrated her murder and subsequently disguised it as an accident.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the Banigala police station spearheaded the investigation, utilizing Safe City cameras, human intelligence, and modern technology to unravel the case. Zahir Shah, Asad Khan, and Pir Muhammad have been apprehended for their alleged involvement. DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq highlighted the professionalism and modern techniques employed by the police, which were crucial in uncovering the truth behind the incident.
