Farrukhabad: Sushil Kumar Shakya, a Bharatiya Janata Party lawmaker in Uttar Pradesh, announced that the Uniform Civil Code Bill is the next legislative priority for the party. Speaking at the BJP office in Awas Vikas, Amritpur, in Farrukhabad district, Shakya emphasized the party’s commitment to its founding goals.
Shakya stated that the BJP is steadfast in its mission, and the introduction of the Uniform Civil Code Bill is on the horizon. This announcement follows recent legislative developments, including the passage of the Waqf Amendment Act.
In his remarks, Shakya reflected on the BJP’s evolution since its inception in 1980, noting its rise to power in the Indian political landscape. He highlighted key achievements such as the construction of the Ram temple and the abrogation of Article 370 as examples of the party’s dedication to its objectives.
