Quetta: Provincial Minister of Public Health Engineering, Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran, commemorated the anniversary of the August 8 tragedy, honoring the lives of the lawyers lost in the attack, which aimed to destabilize the country’s judicial system. He emphasized the significant impact their deaths had on the legal community and the broader struggle against terrorism in Balochistan.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Khetran’s tribute highlighted the critical role lawyers play in society and their unwavering courage in the face of terrorism. He reaffirmed the commitment of Balochistan’s leadership and citizens to combat terrorism, despite the heavy sacrifices endured.
The August 8 tragedy, which resulted in the loss of numerous distinguished lawyers, created a substantial void in the legal sector, affecting the judicial system’s stability. Minister Khetran extended prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ souls and for comfort to the families affected by this grievous event.
