Balochistan Governor Announces Fare Reduction for Quetta-Jeddah Umrah Flights

Quetta: Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhel has announced a significant fare reduction for special Umrah flights from Quetta to Jeddah, enhancing accessibility for pilgrims fulfilling their spiritual duties. The fare cut, a reduction of 10,000, follows collaborative efforts with Pakistan International Airlines and the Civil Aviation Authority, initiated at the Governor’s behest.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the announcement was made during the inauguration ceremony of the Quetta to Jeddah special Umrah flight service. Governor Mandokhel expressed his gratitude towards the airlines and aviation authorities for accommodating the request, which he described as an effort to support the religious commitments of Umrah pilgrims.

The ceremony also highlighted new amenities at Quetta International Airport, including ATM services, currency exchange, and stretcher facilities, which are now available to facilitate not only Umrah pilgrims but also general passengers. Governor Mandokhel emphasized the importance of these services in aiding pilgrims to visit the sacred cities of Makkah and Madinah, underscoring the commitment to fulfilling the spiritual needs of the community.
