Balochistan Chief Minister Discusses Departmental Reforms and Cultural Unity with Provincial Ministers

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti met with Provincial Ministers Mir Sadiq Imrani, Bakht Mohammad Kakar, and Parliamentary Secretary Nawabzada Zareen Khan Magsi on Monday to discuss the administrative affairs of their departments and the steps being taken to address public issues. The meeting also highlighted the importance of cultural identity and unity in fostering national cohesion.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting focused on the enhancement of service delivery through departmental reforms. Chief Minister Bugti emphasized the necessity of establishing an effective accountability system and expediting the resolution of pending governmental and public affairs. He reiterated the commitment to activating departmental functions as a key to resolving public issues sustainably.

During the meeting, Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar presented a traditional Pashtun turban to Chief Minister Bugti in celebration of Pashtun Culture Day. Minister Kakar expressed that Pashtun culture, which promotes values of love, respect, harmony, and tolerance, plays a crucial role in defining regional identities and contributes to national unity.

Chief Minister Bugti stressed the importance of recognizing and promoting all cultures within Pakistan to enhance national unity. He affirmed that every cultural group in Pakistan contributes to the country’s development and prosperity, and fostering a national spirit is essential for progress.

The discussions also covered the need for an effective mechanism to listen to and address the grievances of the common man, ensuring all departmental actions align with legal standards and contribute to overall governance improvement.
