Rawalpindi: Chief of Staff of the Bahrain National Guard, Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz Saud Mubarak Al-Khalifa, met with Pakistan’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, to discuss regional security issues and enhance military cooperation.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting took place on Thursday at the Joint Staff Headquarters. The discussions centered on the evolving regional security environment and the challenges both nations face.
Both leaders expressed a mutual desire to expand the scope and depth of the existing bilateral military engagements between Bahrain and Pakistan. The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening military ties and cooperation to address shared security concerns.
Lieutenant General Al-Khalifa praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and their efforts and sacrifices in combating terrorism. The discussions highlighted the ongoing commitment of both countries to work together in maintaining regional stability and security.
