Islamabad: Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, extended congratulations to Pakistan following the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran, a deal that Pakistan played a mediating role in facilitating.
According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received a phone call from Bayramov, during which the Azerbaijani official commended Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in supporting the agreement. Both officials recognized the MoU as a step towards achieving peace and stability in the region and enhancing global economic confidence.
