Islamabad: The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, made a farewell call on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House. During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif commended Ambassador Farhadov for his efforts to enhance the relationship between the two countries, particularly in political, trade, economic, defense, cultural, and interpersonal areas, including the launch of direct flights.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister Sen. Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Secretary Amb. Amna Baloch. Prime Minister Sharif expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Farhadov’s contributions and shared his hopes for the continued strengthening of ties established during the ambassador’s tenure. He also conveyed warm regards to President Ilham Aliyev and reminisced about past visits between the two nations’ leaders.

Ambassador Farhadov expressed gratitude for the hospitality he received in Pakistan and reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s dedication to strengthening its strategic partnership with Pakistan. He concluded his visit by presenting Prime Minister Sharif with a book detailing his family’s experiences in Pakistan.
