New York: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, reaffirmed the country’s commitment to supporting the UN’s activities during a farewell meeting with the President of the UN General Assembly, Dr. Khalilur Rahman. The meeting took place as the 81st session of the UN General Assembly commenced.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Iftikhar emphasized Pakistan’s dedication to maintaining productive involvement with the organization’s efforts. The discussion addressed several ongoing and upcoming multilateral processes under the General Assembly’s purview, highlighting Pakistan’s intent to remain actively engaged in UN initiatives.
