Riyadh: A Consultative Ministerial Meeting of Foreign Ministers from Arab-Islamic countries has called upon Iran to immediately cease attacks against the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, as well as Jordan, Azerbaijan, and Turkiye.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting, held in Riyadh, resulted in a joint statement where the Foreign Ministers emphasized the importance of adhering to international law, humanitarian norms, and principles of good neighborliness. These steps were identified as essential to mitigate the current escalation, ensure regional security and stability, and encourage diplomatic efforts to resolve ongoing tensions.
In addition to focusing on Iran, the Foreign Ministers expressed their commitment to the security, stability, and territorial integrity of Lebanon. They also criticized Israel for its actions against Lebanon and its expansionist policies in the region.
