APHC Claims Kashmiris Suffer Indian Atrocities Due to Global Apathy

Srinagar, The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has stated that the people of Indian illegally occupied Kashmir have been enduring severe Indian state terrorism for over seventy-six years, a situation exacerbated by the indifference of the international community.

According to Kashmir Media Service, various APHC leaders, including Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Muhammad Saleem Zargar, Muhammad Yasin Attai, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, Javaid Ahmed Mir, Farida Bahenji, Farooq Ahmed, Maulana Musaib Nadvi, Muhammad Umar, Muhammad Aaqib, and Israr Ahmed, issued statements in Srinagar asserting that the Kashmiris have been under brutal Indian occupation since 1947. They criticized the impunity enjoyed by Indian troops under draconian laws, which they claim has led to extrajudicial killings and intimidation of the Kashmiri population. The leaders allege that thousands of Kashmiris have been killed in fake encounters over the last 34 years.

The APHC leaders accused India of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in occupied Kashmir. They highlighted an increase in brutalities against Kashmiris since Narendra Modi assumed office as Prime Minister, likening his regime to a Hindutva fascist regime comparable to the Nazis of Germany.

The leaders called the actions of Indian troops in the internationally recognized disputed territory a challenge to the international community. They demand prosecution for the alleged human rights violations and call for global powers to end their duplicity and intervene to stop Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir.

This statement from the APHC leaders underscores the ongoing tensions and humanitarian issues in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, as perceived by them.
