Islamabad, The leadership of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter expressed gratitude towards Pakistan for its unwavering commitment to the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination. In a statement released in Islamabad, APHC-AJK Convener Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, Secretary General Sheikh Abdul Mateen, and Information Secretary Imtiaz Wani acknowledged the enduring support provided by Pakistan amidst the ongoing challenges faced by the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the leaders highlighted the significant sacrifices made by Kashmiris in their quest for autonomy and praised Pakistan’s consistent political, diplomatic, and moral backing. They noted Pakistan’s adherence to the political rights of Jammu and Kashmir’s people, in line with United Nations resolutions, actively seeking a peaceful resolution through various diplomatic channels.
The statement conveyed deep appreciation for the solidarity shown by the Pakistani people, government, opposition, and various political and social organizations towards the Kashmiri cause. The APHC-AJK leaders expressed hope for a continued and intensified commitment to advocating for Kashmir’s right to self-determination across all platforms.
Additionally, APHC-AJK leaders Qazi Imran Khalid Shabbir, Imtiaz Butt, and Abdul Rashid Butt, in a joint statement, lauded the government and citizens of Pakistan for their solidarity actions, reinforcing the shared resolve to support the Kashmiri people’s aspirations for freedom.
