APFDA Delegation Discusses Agricultural Supply Chain with Finance Minister


Islamabad: A delegation from the All Pakistan Fertilizer Dealers Association (APFDA) engaged in discussions with the Minister of State for Finance and Revenue, Mr. Bilal Azhar Kayani, to address issues concerning the agricultural supply chain and fiscal policy.



According to Press Information Department, the meeting took place at the Finance Division where the APFDA highlighted the critical role of fertilizer dealers in the distribution of crop inputs nationwide. The delegation also provided their perspectives on the Federal Budget 2026-27, emphasizing the need for fiscal measures that align with market conditions and the operational requirements of fertilizer distribution.



The Minister acknowledged the significance of the fertilizer distribution network in enhancing agricultural productivity and the economy. He assured the delegation that their suggestions would be carefully considered and reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering a balanced and business-friendly environment through ongoing consultations with stakeholders.



Both parties emphasized the necessity of continued engagement and collaboration to ensure fiscal stability, boost agricultural productivity, and maintain the effectiveness of the agricultural supply chain.
