Anti-Narcotics Agencies Forge Alliance to Tackle Drug Smuggling

Quetta: In a significant step toward combating drug smuggling, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and the Excise and Taxation and Anti-Narcotics Department of Balochistan have formalized their cooperation through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU, signed in the presence of Major General Abdul Moeed, Director General of the ANF, along with senior officers of the agency, represents a commitment to mutual data sharing, operational collaboration, and timely analysis of drug trafficking trends.

This initiative is part of a broader effort under the federal government’s Inter-Agency Task Force framework, aiming to strengthen the fight against narcotics at both federal and provincial levels. The collaboration seeks to enhance existing measures, ensuring a more coordinated approach to tackling the complex issue of drug smuggling.
