Jamshoro, July 24, 2021 (PPI-OT):Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that formation of any anti-PPP alliance in the province would prove to be a bubble of hot air in next election because PPP has deep roots among the masses. This he said on Saturday while talking to media at Shahbaz Airport where he was accorded a historic ovation on his arrival.
To a question, Mr Shah said that PPP has strong roots among the masses and these roots were planted by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto. “These empty vessels have no strength to root out the Public-PPP relationship,” he said and added in the next election the anti-PPP alliance would again wash away.
Citing an example of PDM, the chief minister said that its balloon had busted in the last election and the new anti-PPP alliance would meet the same fate. Replying to a question, Murad Ali Shah said that the PPP had the ability and strength to run PDM and it had upset the apple cart of the PTI government but ever since PPP has quit PDM it [PDM] has become a lost it’s utility and purpose.
To a question, Murad Ali Shah said that Imran Khan has caused an irreparable loss to the Kashmir cause by demanding a referendum in held Kashmir. “This is what Indian government wants,” he said and added demanding a referendum in held Kashmir to decide future of its oppressed people was a great deviation from the historic stance of Pakistan.
The chief minister to another question said that PPP has delivered in the entire province by establishing leading hospitals, constructing road networks, generating electricity from indigenous coal and Insha’Allah PPP through its poor-oriented policies would steer the people out of poverty. Mr Shah said that the pandemic of COVID has hit the province, particularly city Karachi badly, therefore he has to take some strict decisions. “I am sure people of the province would support the government,” he said.
Earlier, thousands of people of his constituency thronged at the airport and received him amid the defeating slogans of Jeay Bhutto, Jeay Murad Shah and Jeay Bilawal Bhutto.
