Algeria Commends Pakistan’s Role in Regional Peace Efforts


Amman: Algeria has expressed commendation for Pakistan’s contribution to regional peace efforts, as stated during a recent meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Algeria’s Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem held in Amman.



According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between the two leaders focused on enhancing Pakistan-Algeria bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on expanding cooperation in sectors such as trade, investment, information technology, and agriculture. The leaders affirmed their commitment to maintaining regular exchanges and agreed to remain engaged in strengthening both bilateral and multilateral ties.



The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional and international issues, notably the situation in Occupied East Jerusalem and recent developments concerning Iran. Algeria’s Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts in fostering peace and stability across the region.
