Islamabad: The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Investigations/Complaints Syed Inayat Ali Shah held an open court at the Central Police Office in Islamabad to address public grievances and issues faced by police officers. The event aimed to prioritize resolving public issues, marking a commitment by the Islamabad Police to enhance community relations and enforce accountability within the force.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, AIG Shah listened to the concerns of citizens and directed their applications to the relevant officers for prompt action. He emphasized that strict measures would be enforced against officers involved in bribery or corruption, maintaining a zero-tolerance stance. Shah assured participants that efforts would be made to secure the lives and property of citizens and that such interactions would continue to provide relief to the public.
The open court served as a platform for promoting friendly policing, ensuring self-accountability, and facilitating the immediate resolution of problems faced by citizens.
