Ahsan Iqbal Advocates for High-Value Agricultural Exports

Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has urged the transformation of Pakistan’s agriculture sector into a high-value export engine. He spoke during the third session of the “Strategic Dialogue Series on Unlocking Pakistan’s High-Value Export Potential” in the city today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Iqbal stressed the importance of implementing smart agriculture techniques that leverage modern technology. Key elements of his vision include the use of weather-resistant seeds, cooperative farming models, and a significant role for the private sector in agriculture. He also highlighted the potential for promoting livestock and olive cultivation by employing scientific and modern methods, which he believes could significantly boost the national economy.
