Islamabad: Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has highlighted the importance of maintaining continuity in sustainable development policies, economic resilience, and technological preparedness to effectively address global uncertainties, climate change, and other emerging challenges.

According to Radio Pakistan, Iqbal made these remarks during the 29th Sustainable Development Conference and 4th Sustainability Investment Expo held in Islamabad. He pointed out that the rapid evolution of technologies and the increasing impacts of climate change necessitate proactive and forward-looking strategies among nations.

The Minister underscored that developing countries need to bolster their economic resilience, diversify international partnerships, and enhance regional connectivity to remain competitive. He further stated that nations with diversified economies, robust institutions, technological capabilities, and skilled human resources are better equipped to navigate global disruptions and transform challenges into opportunities.
