Lahore: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting higher education institutions in their quest for excellence and international competitiveness. During a meeting with Vice Chancellors of various universities in Lahore, the Acting President emphasized the importance of universities as pivotal contributors to intellectual growth, innovation, and national development.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions during the meeting centered on matters related to higher education, academic excellence, and institutional development. The Acting President highlighted the necessity for universities to actively engage in addressing socio-economic challenges, promoting entrepreneurship, and fostering a culture of tolerance, inclusivity, and civic responsibility among students.
