Acting Chairman Senate Visits Karachi Hospital to Support Acid Attack Victim


KARACHI: Acting Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan visited Aga Khan University Hospital to express solidarity with Dr. Mah Noor Nasir, a victim of a recent acid attack. During the visit, Khan met with Dr. Nasir and her family, offering his sympathy and the nation’s support for her recovery.



According to Senate of Pakistan, Khan condemned violence against women, particularly acid attacks, which he described as violations of human dignity and rights. He presented Dr. Nasir with flowers and gifts, commending her resilience. Khan also acknowledged law enforcement efforts, noting the perpetrator’s elimination and the importance of preventing future crimes. He received a briefing on Dr. Nasir’s medical condition, praising the hospital’s care. Khan concluded his visit by reaffirming national support for Dr. Nasir and her family.
