KARACHI: Acting Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan visited Aga Khan University Hospital to express support for Dr. Mah Noor Nasir, a victim of a recent acid attack.
According to Senate of Pakistan, during his visit, Syedaal Khan met with Dr. Nasir and her family, offering condolences and affirming the nation’s backing during this challenging period. He emphasized the necessity of addressing violence against women, particularly condemning acid attacks as grave violations of human dignity.
In a symbolic gesture, Khan presented Dr. Nasir with flowers and gifts, acknowledging her resilience. He praised the efforts of law enforcement in addressing the crime, noting that the perpetrator has been eliminated and justice has been served. Khan also stressed the importance of ongoing vigilance and law enforcement to prevent future incidents.
Khan received a briefing from the hospital on Dr. Nasir’s condition, commending the medical team for their care. He concluded his visit with a prayer for her recovery, reiterating national support for her and her family.
