Karachi: A delegation from the 47th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) of the National Academy for Aviation Security visited the Port Qasim Authority (PQA) as part of an inland study tour. The visit included a comprehensive briefing on the port’s infrastructure, trade connectivity, and logistics operations.
According to Port Qasim Authority, the delegation was received by senior officials from the PQA, who provided insights into the port’s operations. The participants were briefed in the Chairman Conference Room, focusing on the strategic role of PQA in regional trade. The itinerary included a tour of the Qasim International Container Terminal, where the delegation observed modern cargo-handling systems. A guided sea cruise along the port channel allowed the participants to inspect maritime navigation and port operations firsthand. The tour concluded with an official lunch at the Maritime Lounge, providing an opportunity for further discussion and networking.
