Ziarat, A pivotal meeting led by Deputy Director of Agriculture Extension Haji Nazir Ahmed Panizai has set the stage for the seventh agricultural census in Ziarat district, following a nationwide initiative mandated by the Government of Pakistan’s Statistics Division. This census aims to comprehensively count and document agriculture and livestock resources across the country.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting was attended by key figures including IFA Agriculture Liaquat Ali, DO Muhammad Naeem, Live Stock Officer Dr. Safdar Ali, and DSP Ghous Bakhsh Selachi. The discussions focused on the transparent and efficient execution of the census, with particular attention on the selection and appointment of the necessary census staff.
This census is part of a broader effort by the government to gather accurate data that will inform future agricultural policy and development programs, enhancing support for the district’s and nation’s agricultural sectors.
