Ziarat Launches Free Veterinary Camp to Bolster Livestock Health

Ziarat, In an effort to bolster animal health and safeguard livestock in the region, the Ziarat Livestock and Dairy Development, under the guidance of Balochistan’s Livestock Department, hosted a free veterinary mobile camp in the Quas Ziarat area. The initiative, led by District Livestock Officer Dr. Abdul Rahman and his team, provided critical vaccinations and health services to local livestock.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Secretary of Livestock Muhammad Tayyab Lahri and Director General of Livestock Muhammad Farooq Tareen spearheaded the event, ensuring that various diseases affecting livestock were addressed. The camp, supervised by Veterinary Officer Dr. Safdar Ali Kakar and Dr. Nazir Ahmad Rind, offered vaccinations against multiple diseases, treatments for deworming, rash diseases, and tick prevention.

The mobile camp successfully distributed medicines and provided essential services to the animals brought by local farmers. The efforts of the Livestock Department were met with gratitude from the community, with many expressing satisfaction with the comprehensive care provided. The initiative reflects the department’s commitment to enhancing livestock health, which is vital for the local economy and the well-being of the community.
