Ziarat, A series of meetings chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Liaqat Ali Kakar addressed pressing issues in both the health and education sectors of the district. The District Health Committee meeting saw discussions on enhancing accountability among medical staff and improving hospital sanitation, while the District Education Group meeting focused on teacher attendance and educational standards.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the health meeting, attended by key administrative figures including the District Health Officer and Drug Inspector, resolved to enforce strict measures against absentee medical staff, with potential salary deductions as a punitive measure. Improvements to the sanitation system in hospitals were also a key agenda item.
In parallel, the education meeting attended by various education officials and stakeholders highlighted the need for stringent monitoring of teacher presence in schools. Deputy Commissioner Kakar emphasized the necessity of teacher accountability to ensure that educational standards are maintained and that absentee teachers face salary cuts.
