Ziarat Education Department to Enhance Oversight and Accountability

Ziarat, A significant meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Liaqat Ali Kakar has set new directives aimed at boosting educational standards and accountability within the district’s schools. The session brought together key educational leaders to address issues ranging from school closures to teacher absenteeism.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the District Education Group meeting saw the participation of District Education Officers Latifullah Gharshin and Abdul Fayyaz, along with other notable educational personnel. The gathering focused on comprehensive data collection from all government boys and girls schools and scrutinized the causes behind the recent spate of school closures.

During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Kakar expressed concerns over teacher absenteeism, instructing that salaries be withheld from those habitually absent. This measure is part of broader efforts to ensure that educational standards are not only maintained but enhanced. He emphasized the necessity of addressing the root causes of school closures and improving overall school management.

The Deputy Commissioner also took a firm stance on the equitable distribution of educational budgets, mandating that all funds be allocated based on merit. His commitment to personally monitor the Education Department underscores the administration’s resolve to transform Ziarat’s educational landscape.
