Zhob: In a significant meeting aimed at addressing the challenges and enhancing the performance of the Levies Force, the district administration of Zhob organized a Levies Durbar. The event was graced by the presence of Commissioner Zhob Division, Zeeshan Javed, as the chief guest. Other key participants included Deputy Commissioner Zhob Mehboob Ahmed, ADCG Aurangzeb Kasi, Assistant Commissioner Zhob Muhammad Naveed Alam, Risaldar Major Adam Khan, among other officers.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the Durbar commenced with a detailed report from Risaldar Major Zhob, who outlined the performance and problems faced by the Levies Force. The report highlighted the active role of the Levies Force in both B and A areas, working alongside the police to maintain peace and order. Deputy Commissioner Zhob emphasized the need for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Levies Force in light of the current law and order situation.
During the event, Levies personnel presented their issues to the attending officials, receiving assurances from Deputy Commissioner Zhob that their concerns would be prioritarily addressed. Plans were discussed to equip the Levies Force with modern weapons, uniforms, and vehicles to improve their operational capabilities against criminal activities.
The event also included a tribute to the martyrs of the Zhob Levies Force, with Commissioner Zhob Division presenting gifts to their families and distributing certificates of appreciation to personnel who demonstrated exemplary performance. Commissioner Jhob urged all Levies employees to remain vigilant and proactive in their duties to prevent any untoward incidents, ensuring the safety and security of the public.
