Youth Parliament Vows to Amplify Kashmir Issue Globally


Islamabad: During a visit to the office of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJC) chapter in Islamabad, the Youth Parliament pledged to advocate for the Kashmir dispute on every international platform. The meeting included key figures from both the Youth Parliament and the Hurriyat Conference, focusing on collaborative efforts to address the longstanding conflict.



According to Kashmir Media Service, Youth Parliament President Obaid Qureshi commended the Hurriyat Conference for its dedication to raising awareness of the Kashmir issue. He emphasized the commitment of the Youth Parliament to bring this dispute to various global forums and to work in tandem with the Hurriyat Conference.



Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi expressed gratitude to the Youth Parliament delegation, recalling the historical significance of Kashmir as outlined by Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and urged all Pakistani stakeholders to prioritize the Kashmir dispute. He criticized India’s policies in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly concerning demographic changes and reiterated the Hurriyat’s stance for a comprehensive resolution through a UN-supervised referendum, prioritizing self-determination over developmental agendas.



The meeting concluded with prayers and reaffirmed the united stance of both groups towards seeking a decisive resolution for Kashmir’s independence from India.
