Youth Emphasized as Key to Pakistan’s Progress at National Youth Convention


Islamabad: The Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Program (PMYP), Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, highlighted the pivotal role of youth in driving Pakistan’s development during the “Story of Pakistan and Role of Youth” event at the National Youth Convention.



According to Press Information Department, the Chairman spoke on the historical significance of Pakistan’s emergence on August 14, 1947, and the ongoing contributions of today’s youth toward the nation’s ideals. He stressed the importance of unity, integrity, and economic stability and outlined various government initiatives aimed at empowering the youth. These initiatives, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, include skill development programs, educational scholarships, business and agricultural loans, and environmental projects.



Khan also reiterated the national commitment to securing a stable future through a comprehensive plan that includes economic, diplomatic, and security measures. He expressed confidence in Pakistan’s youth to lead the country toward sustained prosperity and stability, backed by the government’s continued support and investment in their potential.
