Karachi, In a recent operation in Baramulla district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops have arrested a youth, raising tensions in the region. The arrest took place during a cordon and search operation conducted by the Indian army’s Rashtriya Rifles.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the individual apprehended has been identified as Imran Qayoom. He was taken into custody in the Kreeri area of Baramulla district. The Indian troops have labeled the arrested youth as a militant, a claim that has become a common narrative in such arrests in the region.
In their justification for the arrest, the Indian troops asserted that they recovered a pistol, a magazine, and nine pistol rounds from Qayoom’s possession. This incident is part of a continuing pattern of arrests and operations by Indian security forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, often leading to heightened unrest and allegations of human rights violations.
