Young Parliamentarians Forum Delegation Meets Sindh Chief Minister to Discuss Youth Welfare and Legislative Coordination


Islamabad: A delegation from the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF), led by its President, Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar, met with the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, to discuss promoting youth welfare and enhancing legislative coordination. The discussions also touched on addressing social challenges such as political polarization, populism, and the spread of fake news.



According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the Chief Minister highlighted YPF’s role in safeguarding youth rights and praised the organization’s efforts. He also noted significant achievements by the Sindh government, including becoming the first province in Asia to rebuild houses for those affected by floods and constructing what is projected to be the longest bridge in Asia, measuring approximately 32 kilometers. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of youth in national progress and the necessity of collaboration between federal and provincial legislatures to tackle mutual challenges.



Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar expressed gratitude for the Chief Minister’s support, noting YPF’s dedication to youth issues and the creation of awareness. She underscored the youth’s vital role in national development and advocated for guiding and training them to ensure a bright future for Pakistan. The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing on the importance of youth empowerment, improved legislative coordination, and joint efforts for the country’s development.
