Young Indian Army officer goes missing from Mhow infantry School

Mhow, October 08, 2023 (PPI-OT): An Indian Army officer, undergoing the Young Officers course at the Infantry School, has gone missing in Madhya Pradesh state in India. According to Kashmir Media Service, the missing report of Indian Army officer Lt Mohit Gupta was registered at Mhow police station.

He was missing from the Young Officers course at the Infantry School at Mhow in Indore district in Madhya Pradesh, Mhow police Station House Officer Deepak Rathore told the media.

As per preliminary investigation, Lt Mohit Gupta has been missing since Friday. All officers and personnel of other ranks are supposed to attend the Physical Training (PT) at morning time, but he was not there, following which his instructors asked his course mates to check if he was ill, the official said.
