Srinagar, May 20, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders have termed the so-called trial and subsequent convicting of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, as the worst political vendetta.
APHC leader and the United Resistance Forum (URF) Chairman, Bilal Ahmed Siddiqui in a statement in Srinagar said New Delhi in its hegemonic behaviour has left behind all the past measures of suppression to curb the just and legitimate struggle of people of Kashmir. India in its frustration fabricated pro-freedom leadership on flimsy grounds and by setting up kangaroo courts to implement its illegal and nefarious designs in Kashmir, he added.
Bilal Ahmed Siddiqui condemned the stubbornness and highhandedness of New Delhi and appealed to the international community and world human rights organisations to take note of the victimization of the Kashmiri leadership.
APHC leaders, Syed Bashir Andrabi and Khawaja Firdous, in a joint statement in Srinagar said the trial of Muhammad Yasin Malik and his conviction on fabricated charges speak volumes about the sheer frustration of New Delhi due to the strong commitment of pro-freedom leadership and masses towards the ongoing freedom movement. They said this is a well-thought-out conspiracy to get the leadership killed and kept in jails for a long time. They deplored that leaders like Syed Ali Gilani and Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai were killed in custody and thousands of other leaders and activists remain lodged in hell-like jails.
Hurriyat leaders, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, Dr Musaib, and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League in their statements in Srinagar said India in its frustration fabricated pro-freedom leadership on flimsy grounds and by setting up kangaroo courts to implement its illegal and nefarious designs in Kashmir.
APHC-AJK leaders, Qazi Imran, Khalid Shabbir and Abdul Majeed Lone, in their statements in Islamabad said the real face of India’s judiciary stands exposed before the world now. They said India wants to assassinate Muhammad Yasin Malik in a so-called and false case. They appealed to the international justice bodies to take notice of the matter and stop this Indian state terrorism.
