Yasin Malik’s Daughter Asserts Kashmir’s Ongoing Struggle for Freedom

Islamabad: Razia Sultana, daughter of the incarcerated Kashmiri leader Mohammed Yasin Malik, emphasized that Kashmiri leaders and their followers are unwavering in their pursuit of freedom, pledging to continue their struggle until the end.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a media interview, Sultana articulated that despite India’s efforts to suppress the movement, the resolve of the Kashmiri people remains undeterred, instilling fear in the Indian authorities. She criticized the Indian government’s tactics, including the use of pellet guns against Kashmiri children and the destruction of educational facilities, which she views as attempts to undermine the region’s future.

Highlighting the significant role of women and children in the Kashmir freedom movement, Sultana called upon children in India to question their own freedom in contrast to the constraints faced by their Kashmiri peers. She made a poignant comparison between the lives of children globally, who enjoy safety and education, and those in Kashmir, who face separation from their families and are deprived of educational opportunities.

Furthermore, Sultana urged Pakistani children to support the Kashmir cause by engaging in charity, social media campaigns, and other advocacy efforts, stressing the importance of international awareness and intervention in addressing the plight of Kashmiri children.
